Teen class at CrossFit Newport is a strength and conditioning program especially for middle and high school age teens. This class is perfect for students who want to prepare for their next sport season; or just those looking to build lean muscle mass and reduce or maintain excess weight.
Class will include a warm-up, mobility work, time to work on new skills (or practice old ones,) and a workout.
Exercises will include cardio, body-weight work such as pullups and pushups, and some resistance training such as kettlebell, dumbbell, and light barbell work.
This class is supposed to be fun and fast-paced. It will be coached primarily by CFL1 trainer Thera Reilly as well as coach-in-training, Domingo Salas. Coaches Ryan and Tarrah Richardson will also be assisting (CFL2.)
Class times will be 3:45 pm to 4:30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays starting at the end of Oct/beginning of November 2022.
